Dr. Ziad Blaik was awarded a scholarship to attend Cairo University School of Medicine. He graduated with top honors of his class.
He received his neurology training at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a fellowship training at the Mayo clinic.
He is board certified in Neurology and Neuro-muscular pathology. He has held various academic appointments leading to a professor level in Neurology.
He has been the director of the muscular dystrophy clinics of East Tennessee. He was awarded “best teacher of the year” by medical students and residents on many occasions.
Currently, Dr. Blaik is in private practice at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
He practices in all areas of general Neurology but has additional interest and training in Neuro-muscular disease, EMG/nerve conduction.
He has published many articles in peer reviewed neurology journals and participates in multiple research projects for neurologic disease.
